The Chinese Diaspora Viewpoint

I am well-versed with the divergent between the Chinese nationalist (ROC) viewpoint and the Chinese communist (PRC) viewpoint on the second phase of the Chinese Civil War (1946-1949). And, of course, do not forget the Nanking Decade (1927-1937) between the Northern Expedition (1926-1928) and the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945).

The Chinese diaspora viewpoint is gaining more importance, with the People's Republic of China (PRC)'s efforts of reaching out overseas Chinese residing abroad, while the Republic of China (ROC) in Taiwan is now often being neglected in the mainstream Sinology.

Nationalism as the formula of acceptance: In Taiwan, just like in China, I have written extensively about various thoughts of modern Chinese nationalism, because this is the ultimate formula of acceptance into the society.
