When I was younger, I studied about Islam and Christianity by comparing Koran and Bible side-by-side. Then I compared various sects of Buddhism, which actually stemmed from Hinduism.

Everyone interested in Sinology (Chinese Studies) ought to understand the origins of Chinese Nationalism, but what about "Overseas Chinese Nationalism"? 

It is a version of Minority Nationalism, Diasporic Nationalism/Diaspora Nationalism, or simply Long-Distance Nationalism (a term invented by Benedict Anderson).
